Yet in another move from the talented Pakistani students to inspire the world, the students of Comsats University of Science and Technology, Islamabad have designed Artificial Skin which is cheaper than any other important skin. The news came after the University revealed the news in front of the Senate Standing Committee on Science and Technology.
According to Raheel Qamar, the Rector of the University, “Our Students have carried out a successful experiment of inventing a cost effective Artificial Skin than that of imported one”.
The import of artificial skin costs around 22 US dollars per square inch and the Pakistani skin costs only 22 Cents. The invention will bring a revolution to the burn and skin treatments in the country, he added. The Artificial Skin is mostly used in burn related diseases and is also useful for the treatment of Acid attack.
