Change Password by Using Basic Wireless Settings

  • Go to http://tplinkwifi.net from your browser (Anyone you can use).
  • Provide the log in detail:
  • Username: ………..
  • Password: ………..
  • Click on the Login icon.
  • Choose Basic.
  • Choose Wireless. (In the case of enabling 2.4GHz and 5GHz, both icons will be thick.)
  • Under 2.4GHz Wireless: If you allow this.
  • Go to http://tplinkwifi.net from your browser. (Anyone you can use).
  • Provide the login detail:

  • Password: ………..
  • Click on the Login icon.
  • Choose Basic.
  • Choose Wireless. (In the case of enabling 2.4GHz and 5GHz, both icons will be thick.)
  • Under 2.4GHz or 5GHz Wireless which you allow. Or you can do it separately.
  • In the Wireless Network Name (SSID) box, enter your wifi name (if you want to change it here, you can change it).
  •  Enter your new wifi password.
  • Re-connect your device to the wifi.

For a more advanced setting, apply these steps:

Change Password Using Advanced Wireless Settings

  • Open the website in your browser.
  • Provide the log in detail:
  • Username: ………..
  • Password: ………..
  • Click on the Login icon.
  • Choose the Advanced tab.
  • Choose the Wireless menu.
  • Choose the Wireless Settings sub-menu.
  • At the top right, your 2.4GHz and 5GHz will show. Choose which one you want to update. By default, it will display the 2.4GHz wireless settings.
  • Click and check Enable Wireless Radio.
  • If you don’t have one, Provide your preferred Wireless Network Name (SSID).
  • Choose “WPA/WPA2-Personal” for Safety.
  • Choose “WPA2-PSK” for Version.
  • Choose “AES” for Encryption.
  • Provide your password.
  • Choose 802.11b/g/n mixed for Mode.
  • Choose Auto for Channel Width.
  • Choose Auto for Channel.
  • Choose High for Transmit Power.
  • Tap on to save the changes.

How to Change Unifi wifi Password On Netis Router

Unifi wifi password changing is the same as TP-Link wireless router. Just follow the steps:  

Open the website netis.cc; your device should be wirelessly connected to the Unifi network through the Netis router.

Enter your username and password to log in to the Netis router.

From the left side menu, click on “Wireless” and select “Wireless Security” under the “Wireless” section.

Here enter a new password on the given option.

After completing the process, click the “Save” button to save the information, and the router will automatically restart to apply the changes.

How to Change Ubiquiti Unifi wifi Password on Unifi Controller

You can change the password easily using Unifi Network via the Unifi controller. Just apply this simple process.

Open the Unifi network on your device and log in.

When you log in and inside the Unifi controller main interface, click on the setting.

Select “Wireless Networks” from the pop-up menu and click “Edit.”

Provide a new Unifi wifi password beside the “Security Key” option.
